Choosy Beggar's Bocconcini Stuffed Mediterranean Bacon Pull Aparts

Imagine if you will the most delicious and over-the-top savoury salty melty oozy nummy bread. The kind of bread that pulls apart into big, two bite pieces, each with hidden melty ball of bocconcini in the center. The dough is warm and soft and savoury with basil and oregano. Each ball of dough having been rolled in glorious butter and.. bacon fat! before being coated in Parmesan and herbs and layered majestically with bacon, kalamata olives, chopped green onions and sundried tomatoes. Impossible you say? Such a bread is just too wonderful to exist? My friend Tanna found such a bread at Choosy Beggars and promptly let me in on the magic.
Here is the creation. I gained five pounds eating it. It was worth it.
