Moosewood Mondays: Tamari Almonds. Because sometimes you feel like a nut.

Feeling a little nutty? Whole almonds, with their skins on, pack a nutritional punch and are perfect for your lunchbox. Almonds are good for your heart, hair, skin and blood sugar and they taste delicious. What more could you ask for?

Sure, you could get pre-seasoned ones. But they are often kinda dusty, have you ever noticed that? And, although I am a big fan of salt, I find pre-seasoned nuts way too salty. (and who knows what they put in there anyway!)

So why not season your own? With tamari! (kissing cousin of soy sauce, and a little more meaty in flavour)

These are easy to make, taste delicious, and are healthy (in moderation, of course) as well! Come on, it's time to get nutty!
